Progroup welcomes new apprentices and students – this year's graduates also stay loyal to the company

Landau, 15 September 2021 – This year twelve apprentices and one student on a dual studies programme are starting their training at Progroup across Germany. During the introductory week at the Progroup site in Landau in der Pfalz, Germany, they had the opportunity to get to know their new employer better.
In Germany, Progroup is currently training 45 apprentices and four students in commercial and industrial professions across all year groups. The company attaches great importance to offering them good long-term prospects after they complete their training as well.

Apprentices and students on a dual studies programme at Progroup benefit from having a secure job with high prospects of being taken on permanently as well as individual promotion of their personal strengths. In addition, they start their career at the company in the traditional way with an informative welcome week. As well as getting a first impression of their new working environment, they also have the opportunity to get to know each other better while doing various activities. This year’s programme included a team-building exercise with people climbing together.

Members of the operational management team welcomed new colleagues on behalf of the Board and the management.

Long-term prospects: Qualified young talent for a secure future
As a family company, Progroup very much thinks about the next generations. An important aspect of this is to offer young people the best possible training. This is why attractive prospects for a long-term future in the company are created.

“Progroup offers a highly skilled apprenticeship in an industry with a secure future. It is important to us that our apprentices and students gain a solid insight into the daily working routine, actively get involved in the team and take on responsibility at an early stage. This ensures that their talents and motivations are brought to bear right from day one,” says Maximilian Heindl, deputy CEO of Progroup. The company wants to continue to be a driver of innovation in the future and shape the market with its modern approaches.

Employer with a future and responsibility
As a fast-growing company, Progroup is used to having to compete for skilled workers and young talent in the labour market. Over the period from 2015 to 2025, the intention is to create a total of more than 500 new jobs across the company. This is why it is important to Progroup to lay the foundations for persuading young talent to stay with the company after they complete their training.

“We offer our employees state-of-the-art jobs, high-tech plants, a pleasant working environment and a unifying corporate culture in which cooperation, team spirit and trust are actively championed,” stresses Heindl. “We are thrilled that this year this has been rewarded by taking on a very large proportion of outstandingly qualified skilled workers.”

The nine members of the 2021 graduate class are also largely staying with the company.
