Family – this is what drives Jürgen Heindl. Growing up on a farm, he learned at an early age that you have to work hard together to be successful. That you help and support one another. That even the tiniest thing makes a valuable contribution. He champions this spirit in his company – and has been shaping Progroup's culture from day one.
Jürgen Heindl founded the company with a clear goal in mind: to supply medium-sized packaging companies in Europe with high-quality corrugated board sheets as a reliable basis for them to be successful. In just a few decades, his keen eye for spotting opportunities in the market, his courage to take big decisions and his discipline enabled him to turn Progroup into a European market leader.
So what drives him? His passion for discovering new things, pushing the boundaries of what is achievable, and – his constant priority – securing the wellbeing of his family and his employees. Today, to mark his 70th birthday, we reflect on his values and his tireless dedication – and look ahead to the future that he still wants to create for the people close to him.
