Globalisation and the ups and downs of economic and political trends, societal changes in Europe, vital environmental issues and not least the typical challenges of the industry will continue to demand a great deal of flexibility from Progroup in the future. The company is confronting this by implementing its consistent growth strategy that focuses on visionary projects and a success-oriented approach – always with the aim of further expanding its leading position in the containerboard market in Central Europe.
Following the site in Drizzona, a new corrugated sheetfeeder plant is now set to be built in Cessalto. Progroup is investing more than 100 million euros in the new building and is thus continuing its growth strategy. Construction work is due to start at the beginning of 2024. The manufacturer of containerboard and corrugated board sheets will be creating around 65 new jobs. The new building will be constructed right next door to Progroup’s long-standing customer and partner Ondulkart. In future, Progroup will be able to supply it with corrugated board just-in-time via a direct link – thus creating a sustainable packaging park.

Progroup is expanding its site in Sandersdorf-Brehna to create a zero-waste site. A state-of-the-art waste-to-energy plant is being built right next door to the PM3 paper factory. It will supply the factory with the process heat it requires as well as electricity.
Progroup is building a new corrugated sheetfeeder plant in south-west Germany, between the Palatinate villages of Petersberg and Höheischweiler. The company is investing more than 90 million euros in the new building and is thus continuing to pursue its growth strategy. Production is set to begin in the first half of 2024. Progroup will thus be creating 60 new jobs. The 28,000 square metre new building is being constructed right next door to Progroup's long-standing customer and partner G&G Preißer. In future, Progroup will be able to supply it with corrugated board just-in-time via a direct link – thus creating a sustainable packaging park.

The first sheets have officially been produced at the PW14 corrugated sheetfeeder plant since early 2023. PW14 is next door to the existing plant PW07. It is the company's twelfth production facility for corrugated board sheets and the third in Poland. PW14 will manufacture up to 200,000 tonnes of corrugated board sheets a year. Together with the neighbouring PW07 plant, the new plant will have a production capacity of 825 million square metres per year. This means that Stryków is now one of the world's biggest sites for corrugated board production.
