Repair work in the stock preparation area of PM3

Sandersdorf-Brehna, 7 June 2021 - Since August 2020, Progroup has been producing containerboard in Sandersdorf-Brehna on one of the most modern and efficient paper mills in the world. In January, PM3 reached the milestone of producing 50,000 tonnes for the first time and has continued to improve on this mill record over the following months. However, due to repair work that is urgently needed, the production volume in June will be lower than expected.

Because of damage in the stock preparation area, PM3 will have to shut down for repairs starting June 10th for five to seven days. During this time, the urgent repair work will be carried out. The production volume of PM3 is therefore expected to be 10,000 tonnes lower than anticipated.
