New Board member: Dr. Thorben Finken will be the new Chief Financial Officer of Progroup AG

At the same time, we are absolutely delighted to have appointed Dr. Finken, who is a proven leader with international experience and an established expert with an in-depth knowledge of the financial markets. Working with him and his colleagues on the Executive Board, Vinzenz Heindl (CSO), Beate Flamm (CCO) and Dr. Marc Sesterhenn (COO), Finken will continue to drive forward the company’s focus on ensuring it has a secure future.
He stresses: “Particularly in a challenging economic environment, as well as focusing on strict cost controlling, it’s important to demonstrate reliability, clear priorities and forward-looking financial management. Dr. Thorben Finken holds a doctorate in business administration and has more than 25 years of leadership experience in roles with financial responsibility, focusing on strategic corporate development and transformation. He began his career at McKinsey & Comp., and then spent over 15 years in leadership roles at The Linde Group, including as CFO UK & Africa. He has also held positions at Olympus Europe, including as COO Europe, and most recently the position of Group CFO at the Prym Group.
