Progroup honours 120 long-serving employees

Progroup Chairman Jürgen Heindl celebrates with the jubilees of the Landau and Offenbach a. d. Queich locations during the 2019 year-end celebration in the "Dampfnudel" in Rülzheim.

This year Progroup is honouring a total of 120 employees across different sites for their many years of service to the company. The long-serving employees have been employed for between ten and 25 years at the containerboard and corrugated board manufacturer that operates right across Europe. Together they boast 1,565 years of professional experience. They are traditionally honoured as part of the end-of-year celebrations at the sites in Germany, England, France, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. The emotional highlight of these celebrations is the thank-you speeches for the long-serving employees in which they receive personal praise from their line managers with a few anecdotes and stories from the working lives they have shared.

These long-serving employees can look forward to welcoming a number of new employees by 2025. This is the year by which Progroup wants to almost double its production capacity. The intention is to recruit around 400 new employees across Europe. “Progroup’s rapid growth is only possible because we are able to rely on everybody’s expertise and superb teamwork. New employees benefit from the know-how of colleagues that have been working at the company for many years. We extend our sincere thanks to all long-serving employees for their many years of loyal service and their contribution to our shared success. We are very proud and grateful for their loyalty,” stresses Jürgen Heindl, Chief Executive Officer of Progroup.
