The long-distance runner

Frédéric Mineau is well aware that even the longest run starts in the mind. The Frenchman is a long-distance runner, and he covers the really long distances. He already runs 50, 60 or 70 kilometres today and at some point he hopes to progress to 100 kilometres. And he runs on trails, across country and off the beaten track.

A focus on the goal, substance and endurance also characterise Frédéric Mineau at Progroup. He is the Sales Director for Western Europe and has been with the company since 2010. He has almost 25 years’ experience in the industry and knows every customer in France, Belgium and Italy personally. Progroup is currently expanding into the Italian market, the biggest market for corrugated sheetboard in Europe. “We are investing to provide customers with a future,” says Mineau. “Customers need our innovations. They know that otherwise they will not remain competitive.”

„On a run you cannot just set off running. You need to have a clear plan, follow your rhythm and, above all, never lose sight of your goal. This is no different at work.“

There are many parallels between his two worlds, he explains. “On a run you cannot just set off running. You need to have a clear plan, follow your rhythm and, above all, never lose sight of your goal. This is no different at work: here too I act as a partner and adviser to my customers and work with them to develop the optimum strategy so that they can achieve their goals. Progroup is not just a supplier, the track marshal who provides the water, but an active supporter. Here too success begins in the mind.”
