Progroup AG publishes 31 March/First Quarter 2022 Results

In the middle of the first quarter, the challenges resulting from the pandemic and restricted supply chains were compounded by the Russia-Ukraine war, which significantly increased uncertainty about economic developments. In this environment, Progroup continued to perform very well and achieved records in both sales revenues and earnings. Demand for our products continued to grow, resulting in slightly higher sales volumes for containerboard and corrugated board–with moderately higher recovered paper prices. Group sales increased strongly in the first quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year and reached a new record.
