In Sandersdorf-Brehna (Saxony-Anhalt), work will be ongoing through to 2020 to construct one of the world’s most modern paper machines for manufacturing containerboard, the starting material for producing environmentally friendly corrugated board packaging. The ground-breaking ceremony took place back in August 2018. After the initial start-up phase, Progroup’s third paper factory will produce an annual capacity of 750,000 tonnes of containerboard with a working width of 9.20 metres.
