Quality papers for the most demanding requirements.

The brands Proliner for test liner papers and kraft liner substitutes from 80 to 230 g/m2 and Promedium for corrugated board papers from 60 to 180 g/m2 meet the most demanding requirements. New and pioneering additions to our range are the Next FibreⓇ papers – economically produced high-performance papers with a low grammage, made from 100% recovered paper in a way that conserves resources. All papers pass through a consistent quality assurance process, and reliable brand quality is guaranteed. Ask us about technical details.

K-line

Product
Grammage range
ProKraft (PKL)
115 – 155 g/m2

The high-quality kraftliner for high burst pressures.

  • High-quality, two-ply kraftliner with high fresh fibre content for particular requirements for a high burst pressure.
  • Corresponds according to Cepi definition to the Kraftliner product category.

Use

  • Packaging for the transportation of non-shape-retaining goods (e.g. bulk goods) and heavy goods which place a burden on the packaging from the inside (e.g. machine components). Requirement for good stackability of the packaging.

Grammage

  • From 115 to 175 g/m2

Wet strength

  • Can be set up to 12N

Cobb 60

  • < 40 g/m2

Approval

  • ProKraft is approved for use in contact with food according to XXXVI Recommendation of the German Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
  • ProKraft has been reviewed by the Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS) Munich. The following parameters were selected here:
  • Indicative determination of the mass per unit area (mA) based on DIN EN ISO 536
  • Bursting strength (BW) acccording to DIN EN ISO 2759
  • Short-span compression strength (SCT) in the cross direction (CD) according to ISO 9895
  • NIR spectrum for classifying the papers as kraftliner or testliner.

Proliner K
115 – 175 g/m2

The high-quality kraftliner substitute for the highest SCT values.

  • Proliner K is a high-quality, two-ply kraftliner substitute made from high-quality kraft-containing recovered paper.
  • Proliner K achieves, thanks to its specific raw material composition, higher SCTq values than kraftliner and kraftliner substitutes which are commonly found in the market.
  • This means that Proliner K is ideally suitable for packaging in which a high level of stackability is required.

Use

  • Packaging in warehouses and transportation that is exposed to high stacking crush pressures. Also stacking trays, packaging for spare parts, packaging which is exposed to special climatic conditions such as in refrigerated depots and also fruit and vegetable crates.

Grammage

  • from 115 to 175 g/m2

Wet strength

  • Can be set up to 12N

Cobb 60

  • < 60 g/m2

Approval

  • Proliner K is approved for use in contact with food according to XXXVI Recommendation of the German Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and, thanks to its FSC® certification (FSC® C106840), it conserves the environment and resources.
  • Proliner K has been reviewed by the Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS) Munich. The following parameters were selected here:

Promedium S
135 – 140 g/m2

High-performance fluting optimised in CMT and SCT.

  • Promedium S is a high-quality, two-ply containerboard with higher CMT and SCT values compared to a conventional corrugating medium.

Use

  • Promedium S is particularly suitable for use with flutes in heavy-duty packaging for storage as well as transport packaging for bulky goods and industrial goods.

Grammage

  • From 135 to 175 g/m2

  • Indicative determination of the mass per unit area (mA) based on DIN EN ISO 536
  • Short-span compression strength (SCT) in the cross direction (CD) according to ISO 9895
  • Flat crush resistance (CMT) according to DIN EN ISO 7263

Promedium K
135 - 175 g/m2

The high-quality semi-chemical pulp substitute for higher CMT values.

  • Promedium K is a high-quality semi-chemical pulp substitute made from high-quality kraft-containing recovered paper.
  • Promedium K is ideally suitable for packaging where a high level of stackability and a high flat crush resistance are required.

Use

  • Packaging in warehouses and transportation that is exposed to high stacking crush pressures. Also stacking trays, packaging for spare parts, packaging which is exposed to special climatic conditions such as in refrigerated depots and also fruit and vegetable crate.

Proliner
70 - 135 g/m2

The “green” basis for a new corrugated board generation.

  • Lightweight, single-ply high-performance testliner 3 in the grammage range of ≤ 90g/m2
  • Thanks to the paper machine configuration which is selected, good strength characteristics in respect of SCT, CMT and bursting strengths are achieved despite low grammages.
  • Ideal for use in lightweight corrugated board and packaging
  • Resource-conserving use of raw materials, along with optimum strength characteristics.
  • The full strength potential is displayed in combination with adapted corrugated geometries of the corrugated board (Next Board®).

Special properties:

  • Promedium and Proliner from the SLW-line are manufactured in a way that conserves resources and save the environment an average of 52% of CO2 emissions. The greater number of linear metres per reel also helps to save CO2 during transport.

Use

  • In light protective and non-load-bearing packaging, trays for food, toiletries and cosmetic products.

Approval

  • Approved for use in contact with food according to XXXVI Recommendation of the German Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and, thanks to its FSC® certification (FSC® C106924), conserves the environment and resources.
