Growth Projects

[Translate to English:]

Globalisation and the ups and downs of economic and political trends, societal changes in Europe, vital environmental issues and not least the typical challenges of the industry will continue to demand a great deal of flexibility from Progroup in the future. The company is confronting this by implementing its consistent growth strategy that focuses on visionary projects and a success-oriented approach – always with the aim of further expanding its leading position in the containerboard market in Central Europe.

Corrugated sheetfeeder plant in Cessalto

Following the site in Drizzona, a new corrugated sheetfeeder plant is now set to be built in Cessalto. Progroup is investing more than 100 million euros in the new building and is thus continuing its growth strategy. Construction work is due to start at the beginning of 2024. The manufacturer of containerboard and corrugated board sheets will be creating around 65 new jobs. The new building will be constructed right next door to Progroup’s long-standing customer and partner Ondulkart. In future, Progroup will be able to supply it with corrugated board just-in-time via a direct link – thus creating a sustainable packaging park.
